  • Support for parish and clergy
  • Charitable outreach in the local community
  • Fraternity among Catholic men
  • Service rooted in Catholic family life

A Catholic Fraternal Organization

Founded in 1882 to protect Catholic families and strengthen Catholic men in their faith, the Knights of Columbus has grown into one of the world's largest Catholic lay organizations. Council 10122 continues that mission locally through charitable service, support for parish ministries, and brotherhood centered on Christ.

Our council works to serve not only our members, but also our parish, clergy, families, and neighbors in need. Whether through volunteering, fundraising, liturgical support, or community projects, our goal is to put faith into action.

Core Principles
  • Charity — caring for those in need
  • Unity — working together in faith
  • Fraternity — supporting one another as brothers
  • Patriotism — faithful citizenship and public witness

The Principles of the Order

The Knights of Columbus is built on four guiding principles that shape its mission and membership.

Charity

The first principle of the Order and the foundation of every council's work, from helping parish families to supporting local causes and ministries.

Unity

Unity reminds us that great works are accomplished together. Knights support one another and labor side by side for the good of the Church and community.

Fraternity

Fraternity means standing with brother Knights and their families in times of celebration, hardship, and need. It is the bond of Catholic brotherhood.

Patriotism

Expressed most visibly in the Fourth Degree, patriotism calls Knights to be faithful Catholics, honorable citizens, and public witnesses to the faith.

Council Membership

Men join the Knights of Columbus through the Exemplification of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity. This unified ceremony welcomes a man into full council membership and reflects the first three principles of the Order.

Fourth Degree

After becoming a full Knight, a member may choose to join the Fourth Degree, which emphasizes patriotism, honor guards, civic witness, and visible representation of the Catholic faith at Church and public events.
